It isn’t easy to find a nice bar near Milan Central Station. Most of the places are made for short stops when switching trains or to have a coffee before departure. It’s a shame. Because of its central location and the presence of two metro lines it would the perfect location for a work appointment. The solution has arrived with the opening of Caffè Pascucci.

Caffè Pascucci in Milano: informal, welcoming and easy to reach
Caffè Pascucci opened this coffee bar, which is situated on a stone’s throw from Milan Central Station, just over a year ago. I wanted to go there for some time already, but for one reason or another I had to postpone my visit. Until I finally made it a few weeks ago and I immediately became a fan of this place.
First of all, the location is ideal for a coffee break with friends, an italian breakfast before leaving on a train or an airport shuttle, or to fix a work meeting. The interior of the place is informal but warm with enough space to open-up your laptop and do some work. Since the coffee bar is just a few minutes from Milan Central Station and its metro stops, Caffè Pascucci is also the perfect location for people arriving to and departing from Milan.
Not only coffee
Caffè Pascucci is off-course the place to be for coffee lovers. Besides the ‘classic’ Italian coffees, like espresso and cappuccino, one can also order more trendy versions, like filter coffee or the flavored ones. In case you are in a hurry but need to buy a present, you have to check-out the Bottega Ghina. On sale are products related to coffee, from the moka (typical italian coffee machine) to mugs, from coffee machines to cups.
For breakfast and a quick lunch you find ready-to-eat but fresh solutions, like brioche or panini. You can enjoy them directly at the counter, seated on one of the outdoor tables (with a view of the beautiful Central Station) or on the go.
Attention for sustainability
Even though the story of Pascucci goes a long way back (the company was founded in 1883), the owners are absolutely aware of the fact that the world is changing and that we have to come into action to make it survive. Where possible, they try to respect the environment, using organic products and avoiding the use of plastic in the take-away products. A positive gesture for a big Italian company that almost 150 years after its birth is still managed by members of the Pascucci family.
To cut it short, find a reason to go there and check out this coffee bar which is just a few steps from Milan Central Station with your own eyes.
